There are few salient points worth pondering for me from this article are (not in any order of preference though):

1. There will be nothing “artificial” about this technology (For me, that is very insightful).

2. The final realization is that things happen, but there is no individual doer of anything (Gave me Ramesh Balsekar vibe).

3. So I’m neither for nor against it. (Isn't that the issue every person who is committed to the middle path faces? World is divided between 'for' and 'anti' and very few can walk down that middle path as taking sides looks enticing. BTW, I am not talking about just this topic but in general about not taking sides in life and not being considered as serious enough by either side. :-))

Thank you Ravikant! You summarized it beautifully. It is true that very few can walk down the middle path, but the thing to note here is that the middle path is not a perfect straight line. As human beings endowed with ego-intellect-mind, even the wisest, sometimes, get swayed from the middle path. We all have biases and imperfections that we have to accept and live with.

And that's okay because that's how the creator has made us. However, the awareness of our innermost "being" always brings us back to the place of love, safety, stability, and security, which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The recognition of "that" is what I call the grace of God.
